This Quality Sets You in the Right Direction.4 min read
If you are committed to being an Ordinary Visionary, certain qualities are absolutely necessary.
Last week, I wrote about patience as the underlying mindset that will help you stay on track and move forward with calm determination to make a difference.
The next, perhaps more obvious quality, is …
CLARITY of VISION
This is more than goal-setting. It’s a firm, unshakable stand to move your vision forward – even if you don’t know how.
It’s not so much about the perfect words, although those certainly help. It’s more about a feeling and idea that lives in your heart and mind. When you have that kind of vision and clarity, the full power of your being begins to orient towards that vision.
When you think, feel, live, breathe, and dream your vision, it starts to unfold in your life naturally, almost effortlessly. You don’t have to push your vision—it pulls you.
I have always found that reading quotes about an idea helps make that idea clearer and clearer.*
Here are 25 quotes about Vision and Clarity, highlighting their importance in fulfilling one’s vision and making a difference:
1. “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.” – Helen Keller

*When I started my business some 40 years ago, I subscribed to a little 24-page publication called Bits and Pieces (now https://bitsandpieces.biz) that contained inspirational and motivational quotes on several topics.
One day I copied every quote I could find on success and typed them out on several pieces of paper. I read them over and over and over until my doubts and fears of being a success going out on my own dissipated and were replaced by confident thoughts that I could make it on my own terms.
These articles revisit that practice. I hope you find them useful and inspiring. Let me know what you think.
Cheers, Robert
