What is this program?

It’s a nine-month intensive group marketing coaching and training program designed to assist and guide self-employed B2B professionals in attracting more of their ideal, high-end clients.

Who is this program for?

It’s exclusively for self-employed B2B professionals such as management consultants, executive coaches, and corporate trainers. It’s for those professionals who help businesses get improved results through a wide variety of approaches and disciplines.

Participants are typically seasoned professionals who have been self-employed for several years. They come from diverse backgrounds, from working in small companies to multi-national corporations.

They went out on their own because they wanted the independence and opportunity to do their own thing their own way. They don’t really like working for a boss but they do like helping people and making a difference.

They are a diverse group of men and women, many from around the world, from different ethnic groups and cultures. What they have in common is intelligence, an interest in growth, and a passion for their work.

Why is this program needed?

Many self-employed professionals struggle to attract enough of the clients they really want to work with. They want great clients who are ready to make changes and who have the budget to get the help they need to make those changes.

Many professionals just don’t like the idea of marketing and selling. They find it challenging to talk about what they do. And they don’t like hype, hard-sell, or manipulation.

Most get their new clients from word-of-mouth but don’t have any reliable, repeatable system for attracting more of their ideal clients.

The program focuses on these five marketing practices: 

1. Articulating a clear, attention-getting marketing message and value proposition.
2. Creating a focused, High-End, Outcome-Based (HEOB) service or program.
3. Developing a powerful value-based presentation and other marketing communications.
4. Getting in front of the right prospective clients who can either buy your services or lead you to those who can.
5. Presenting your service or program and enrolling new clients.

It’s these five marketing practices that have proven to work the best to consistently attract more of your ideal clients. 

What can you expect to gain from this program?

Ultimately, you will become better at attracting clients to your work. You will get more opportunities to communicate with prospective clients about what you do and share the value you have – both honestly and persuasively. You’ll feel more confident about communicating about your business, giving presentations, preparing proposals, and closing more business.

Marketing your professional services will be less of a struggle and mystery and feel more natural and easy. You’ll realize that marketing can be done with integrity and without hype. 

How does the program work?

It’s all about learning and applying marketing ideas and strategies that work to attract your ideal, high-end clients. In groups and individually, we’ll meet, talk, and explore. Then you’ll work at applying what you learn to get your message and your services and programs in front of your prospective clients.

Marketing is 100% communication. It’s knowing how to communicate the value of your services so that prospective clients become interested, want to know more, and ultimately end up engaging your professional services.

What does this program help you avoid?

Marking your professional services can be overwhelming. There are literally a million things you could do. And it can be very confusing trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Where should you spend your time and what should you avoid?

So, we help you avoid confusion and overwhelm. We show you what works and help you develop the skills to implement the most effective approaches and strategies. We train, coach, consult, and support you in being successful at attracting clients.

How is this program different?

This program was developed as a result of 35 years of working with self-employed professionals on their marketing. It is practical and hands-on. It contains a ton of information but it is primarily an action program. You will work harder at this program than almost anything you have previously done in your business. And your business will move forward measurably. 

But it is also a very personal and personable program. You will get to know your fellow participants well. You’ll meet and exchange ideas. You’ll actually have fun, laugh a lot, and think deeply about your business and what you are here to contribute.

What is the structure of the program?

Well, it’s pretty intensive. We do all of the following:
1.
Two 90-minute group sessions via Zoom every month. 

2. Up to two monthly one-hour private coaching and strategy sessions with Robert via Zoom or phone.
3. Written marketing how-tos with step-by-step strategies and action plans.

4. Assignments to develop actual marketing strategies and materials.
5. Assignments to implement actual marketing activities.
6. Accountability and reporting through the Slack App.

What is this program not?

It is not an online program where you study videos and documents on your own without support or feedback. It is not about passive marketing such as social media, content marketing, SEO or web-based marketing, or Facebook advertising.

It’s not about positive thinking, the law of attraction, or any other mumbo-jumbo. It’s about learning principles and practices that work and then taking action. 

It is not a lot of useless information that overwhelms you and that you never implement.

Does the program come with a guarantee?

Yes, I actually guarantee that you will attract new clients and earn twice what you invest in the program. All that is required is that you participate fully in the program.  

How do you join the program? 

The next program starts in April 2021. The group sessions will be on Wednesdays at 12 noon Pacific. Sessions will be the second and fourth Wednesdays from April through September and then the first and third Wednesdays from October through December. The fall program starts in September 2021 on Thursdays.

We hold a series of introductory webinars a couple of months before the programs start. Make sure you are on our email list and you’ll see the notifications for these webinars.

The webinar will give you an experience of what the program is about, what it covers, pricing for the program, and answers to any questions you might have.

After the webinar, if you think the program may be for you, we set up a 30-minute meeting to answer any questions you may have and make sure the program is the right fit for you and your business. 

The program is limited to 20 participants each time. Because it’s very hands-on and we give each participant a lot of personal attention, this is all we can manage.
