What are Your Business & Marketing Intentions?2 min read
I’ve just returned from a week-long vacation in Cancun Mexico (see above).
And I took some time to reflect on the future of my business.
I’ve had a good run – coming up on 34 years.
But there won’t be another 34. Perhaps 10 if I’m able to stay both healthy and sharp.
When I started my business in 1984 the goal was to just stay alive. And it took me a few years to succeed at that!
But as my successes increased, I became more focused on what it meant to make a real difference.
And that has meant a number of different things over the years.
Primarily it has meant providing information, ideas, and inspiration for independent professionals on how to attract clients.
I’ve discovered that when I have a clear intention and goals that are in alignment with that intention, results happen.
My question for you today is very simple:
What are your intentions?
That is, what results are you truly committed to accomplishing in your business?
What difference do you want to make?
What lives do you want to touch?
What fulfillment do you want to experience?
Over the next 10, 20 or 30 years will you be able to look back and say, “I did my very best to realize my intentions.”
In my many years in business, I’ve been proud of so many of my clients who have accomplished their goals.
But I’ve also seen many who simply gave up before they reached the goals that were once so important to them.
What will it take to realize your business dreams?
And, just as importantly, what might stop you from realizing them?
As I move forward into the final years of my business, I want to wish you all the best in taking your business (and your life) to where you want them to go.
If I can support you in any way, let me know.
By the way, I have a free online FB community for Action Plan Marketing that is open to my subscribers.
Use it for asking questions, getting support and contributing your ideas.

Robert,
I have been impressed for years at your success and your willingness to share you thoughts, ideas and techniques. A few years ago, you interviewed my for your Action Plan Group about my book, “Plan Your Success: Turn Your Dreams Into Reality.” I’m not writing you to promote the book, but to mention that the book attempts to explain what today’s Ezine so eloquently did. The book describes how important it is to have personal and business goals and make sure they are aligned to ensure success in life and business. I just thought, in light of today’s topic, you might want to revisit the book if you ever received a copy. I’d appreciate your comments if you do get a chance to read the book and determine if we are on the same page. Good luck with continuing to fulfill your business and personal goals. Gary
